About Holiday & Seasonal Decor
Seasonal decorating is harder in a small space. There’s no spare room for storage boxes, no grand mantel and often only one table that has to work for meals, work and everything else. These guides are written for exactly that. You’ll find ideas for dressing a small dining table for Thanksgiving without losing elbow room, places to hang stockings when you don’t have a fireplace, and ways to bring in garland, candlelight and texture that come down cleanly after the season.
We plan each look around a few pieces you can reuse year after year: warm white lights, a neutral runner, flameless candles and greenery that works from November through January. Where a product helps, we link it and say why we picked it. Where a DIY or something you already own works just as well, we say that too.
Use these guides to plan your space before the holidays get busy. Measure the surface first, choose one focal point and keep the rest simple. A small home looks most festive when one corner is clearly the star.
